As Nee Soon South Division celebrates its 20th Anniversary this year, so were Spiritual Grace Presbyterian Church and St Thomas Orthodox Syrian Cathedral. The two members of Nee Soon South IRCC celebrated their Centennial and Golden Jubilee in February and June 2008 respectively this year.

Spiritual Grace Presbyterian Church 100th Anniversary Thanksgiving Celebration (2 February 2008)

Spiritual Grace Presbyterian Church celebrated its centennial anniversary on February 2, 2008. The celebration began with a thanksgiving worship session at 4.00 pm. The church and its guests then proceeded to the Grand ballroom of Orchid Country Club for a thanksgiving dinner at 6.00 pm. A total of 630 guests were present. Among honorary guests were representatives of Nee Soon South Citizens’ Consultative Committee, representatives of Nee Soon South Inter-Racial and Religious Confidence Circle, representatives of other religious organizations, Moderators of the Presbyterian Church in Singapore (both English and Chinese Division), Reverends and Deacons of various churches, principals of bible colleges and representatives of Batam Presbyterian Church from Indonesia.

St. Thomas Orthodox Syrian Cathedral
- Golden Jubilee (50th Anniversary, 1958 - 2008)

St. Thomas Orthodox Syrian Cathedral celebrated its 50 Anniversary, 1958 - 2008. On the occasiono of its Golden Jubilee Celebration, it launched a local charity project. The proposed project will be a Merit/Bursary Scholarship Scheme for pupils of Primary and Secondary Schools in Nee Soon South Constituency. The scheme will be extended to children of members of our cathedral. Details of the scheme will be announced after signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the constituency.
